An 18-year-old boy from Udupi in Karnataka allegedly paid Rs 17,000 to a person through a YouTube channel to procure a digitally altered NEET-UG 2025 scorecard to ‘impress’ his family, prompting authorities to launch a wider investigation into online scams that offer forged academic documents for money.
According to a complaint filed by the boy’s father with the Udupi Cyber Economic and Narcotic Crime Station last week, the boy came across a YouTube channel called Editing Master (@Editingmaster-d6r) in April, during his NEET preparation.
