Maintaining that the Udupi college video issue was blown out of proportion, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara Thursday asked why the National Commission for Women (NCW) had not rushed to Manipur after a video emerged from the strife-torn state.
“Manipur incident is so….., I don’t know what to call it, and there the commission has not gone. Is this (Udupi) incident of that magnitude? Let them come. I am not a person to say why should you come? But you also see what did you find? Were there any videos of this incident or anything?” he told reporters.
